We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your participation and support at the Association for Excellence in Medical Education – AEME2012 Conference which was held at the at Pak China Friendship Center Islamabad Pakistan from March 03-05, 2012  . The event was recognized as an effective and successful . We would like to acknowledge the support and participation of one and all.

The event was graced by the presence and acknowledgements of the institution such as the FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education & Research), PM&DC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council), HEC (Higher Education Commission Pakistan), PSF (Pakistan Science Foundation), KMU (Khyber Medical University Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan), KEMU (King Edward Medical University Lahore Pakistan), DUHS (Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi Pakistan), UHS(University of Health Sciences Lahore Pakistan), University of Lahore Pakistan,  Isra University Pakistan as Collaborators, Al-Nafees Medical College & Hospital Islamabad Pakistan, Al-Tibri Medical College & Hospital Karachi Pakistan as Sponsors, and HTV (Health TV Pakistan) as Media Partner.

The two day conference was preceded by a busy day of 04 parallel workshops in the morning and 04 parallel workshops in the evening. These were facilitated by visiting keynote speakers.
The success of the conference can be gauged by the number of registrants which scaled to 800. The Three days were packed with 10 keynote lectures by visiting experts, , 90 oral paper presentations in parallel sessions and 50 Poster presentations and 07 Free Workshops.

Golden jubilee of Pakistan Medical and Dental council was celebrated by all the participants and also the gala Dinner in honor of all the dignitaries and participants was given by PM&DC
